Alrossio Conservation Tips
There is no way to avoid it: every mobile phone battery suffers a gradual loss of its capacity, over the months and years of use. But there are some things that the user can do to try to preserve the device and have a longer lasting battery. Check out Alrossio's tips.
Charge your mobile phone at bedtime
Charging your phone before bedtime is a common habit, after all this is a time where just like them, we are also recharging our energy. However, can this habit be harmful to the health of the mobile phone battery? Well, that depends. The problem is not in fact in the charging itself, but in how it is done.
Charging the mobile phone in moments of idleness is highly recommended. But before going to sleep with your phone charging, it is important to always keep in mind that your smartphone cannot be left on surfaces that store heat. It's very tempting to leave it charging in that socket near the bed, right?
But, the recommended thing is to sleep well away from your smartphone, especially if it is charging. You can leave it charging beside the bed on a chair, bedside table and other surfaces that do not store heat. This way, in addition to reducing many risks, you can also ensure safer charging for you and your smartphone.
Charge to the optimum percentage
Sometimes we need to pick up our phone before it even reaches a full charge, right? But, have you ever wondered: - is there an ideal percentage to take your smartphone out, after all? According to smartphone manufacturers, from 80% charge the models get the ideal battery for use.
Thinking now of the opposite way, several smartphone models also display a warning of the need to charge when the battery reaches between 25% and 20% of charge. So, ideally, keep your phone charged between 20% to 80% to enjoy better battery capacity and device functions.
Overheating
Try to protect your smartphone from extreme temperatures. The cold can help degrade the battery, but the biggest enemy is really heat. A very hot device has its battery compromised, especially lithium-ion batteries, which gradually lose capacity and accumulate damage over time.
Be careful when leaving your mobile phone exposed to the sun in the car, at the beach or in the pool. And if any game is making the device toasty, try adjusting the graphics options to a less demanding level.
Loading, don't
Try not to use your smartphone while it's charging. The process, especially with superfast or wireless chargers, leaves your phone heated all over. Also avoid leaving the smartphone charging on the bed, sofa or pillows. Prefer a colder surface. And keep the environment ventilated.
Use chargers with the ideal power
Many smartphone models today, have support for turbo charging. That is, are also sold by manufacturers models of chargers that offer higher charging powers. However, it is worth noting that this charging is only suitable for compatible models.
Using a turbo charger on an unsupported mobile phone may stress the battery, causing it to heat up, which is a high risk for the user. Therefore, it is recommended to always use original chargers with the power indicated for your mobile phone.
Optimise the settings.
There are two simple ways to save battery power, regardless of how you use your device: adjust the screen brightness and use Wi-Fi.
Reduce screen brightness or enable Auto Brightness to improve battery life.
When you use your device to access data, Wi-Fi connections use less power than cellular networks, so keep Wi-Fi on all the time.
